Throughout the year the Savoie heritage guides organise visits of the village and the Fer à Cheval (housing, customs, legends and local history). These visits are a great way of discovering Sixt Fer à Cheval through the wealth of its history, its buildings and the variety of its conservation areas. Group visits are possible - book directly through the 'Association des Amis du Patrimoine de Sixt Fer à Cheval'

Guided visits are also organised by Savoie heritage guides in Samoëns, Morillon, Flaine and Passy. In Samoëns, a village steeped in art and history, the 'Sociéte des Maçons' (stone masons, linked with the Haut Giffre stone-cutters) also organise guided visits.
